United colours of nature

Last Saturday, my wife and eldest daughter went out to gather some material for my daughter’s GCSE photography project. They went out seeking autumn colours. I thought they were a bit early in the season to bring back much of interest.

What do I know? They came back with a heart gladdening array of colours that astonished me; all gathered within walking distance of our home. Naturally, when I saw the technicolour harvest, I had to make some images of my own!
