Some Thoughts on Photography

Photography widens your horizon by narrowing your field of view.

Photography is comforting company when you are lonely, and glorious solitude when you want to be alone.

It soothes you when anxious and lifts you when down.

It can be both calm meditation and heart quickening hunt.

It helps you see beauty within the mundane and ugly truths hidden in plain sight.

It’s a language without an alphabet and poetry without words.

It can jog memories and help create them.

It is science, art and magic.

Photography is one of the greatest things we have.
