North Sands Twilight

And I, living
By the sea — The Sea: Morcheeba

Hartlepool might not be everyone’s (or anyone’s!) idea of an idyllic seaside resort, but for a photographer, the light alone can sometimes be enough. I went out earlier this evening with my lovely Yashica Mat 124G to make some images with a roll of Ilford SFX 200, an interesting film which extends into the infra-red spectrum (look out for a future post on the results). Well, 12 frames of film is soon exposed, so I made use of my Sony digital compact until the colour faded from the sky.
